North American Council on Adoptable Children
(NACAC)
NACAC offers education, parent support, research,
and advocacy in the U.S. and Canada, around
adoption and foster care issues, and it hosts
a comprehensive adoption training conference
each year. NACAC puts out a quarterly newsletter,
and conducts training sessions and workshops
on adoption subsidy, child welfare reform, and
other issues related to foster care and special
needs adoption.
PACT,
An Adoption Alliance
Pact's goal is to create and maintain the internet's
most comprehensive site addressing issues for
adopted children of color, offering informative
articles on related topics as well as profiles
of triad members and their families, links to
other internet resources, and a book reference
guide with a searchable database.
U.S. State Department Information on Intercountry
